We put a ton of work into our wedding to make it exactly what we wanted. However, the following companies really helped put it over-the-top. Our thanks go out to all of them. Hopefully, these little links will help direct others to them. We recommend their services without reservation.

The Lodge at Blue Ridge Summit

From beautiful rooms to delicious brunch to shooting skeet to late night bonfires, ML Carroll, Mark Lynch and their staff at the Lodge at Blue Ridge Summit continually made our stay comfortable, enjoyable, and stress free. They bent over backwards for us, and we can't commend them enough.

Canapes Catering

Canapes is also run by ML Carroll, and she did an amazing job with the food at our wedding. There wasn't a single disappointment on the menu. Good food was our top priority, and ML's crew lived up to our wildest dreams.

Julie Parlaman and her events staff at ThorpeWood were absolutely incredible in facilitating our somewhat non-traditional ceremony-reception hybrid. They literally rearranged their facility to accomodate our wishes, and they made sure that everything went off without a hitch. And, of course, ThorpeWood itself was (and remains) a beautiful setting and an organization whose mission we support.

Secret Garden at Morningside

Mary did an excellent job capturing our desired color scheme with tasteful but colorful arrangements. Her flowers made a huge difference in promoting a festive atmosphere. All this after one meeting.

Blueground Jewelry

Mark Nimeh and his staff at Blueground held our hands and guided us through the creation of our rings (both our wedding bands and Laura's diamond ring). Mark was always straightforward and honest with us, giving us his recommendations and suggestions without pressure. We put a lot of trust in Mark (with a family heirloom no less), and we would do it again in a heartbeat. We couldn't be happier with the results.
